Apartments were solved in two 20-storey high blocks, one belonging to the developer firm and the other to the landowners. All the living areas of the residences were positioned towards the Marmara Sea on the South.
The blocks were skewed in a certain way enhancing the view of Princes’ Islands from the apartments. Dynamic building masses perceived differently from various angles were created by slightly rotating the floor slabs.
Open parking lots and entrances were planned on the northen side of the blocks, whereas the pool and the open recreational areas were located on the southern side to ensure exposure to sunlight.
Closed social areas were solved on the ground floor in connection with the entrances, as well as open areas.
Entrances are sheltered from the rain whereas social areas are shaded during the summer with a canopy wrapping both blocks, which is designed following the geometry of the building masses.
Roofs of the blocks were designed as semi vegetated common recreational areas.
